Measurement and adjustment method of bearing bush clearance of European version of jaw crusher

Durning the Jaw Crusher using hsitory,The clearance of the bearing bush determines the thickness of the oil wedge and affects the running accuracy of the spindle. Excessive bearing bush clearance will cause equipment vibration and reduce equipment life; too small bearing bush clearance will lead to burning tiles. Therefore, reasonable adjustment of bearing bush clearance is an important issue, and it must meet the specified standards

1) Adjustment and measurement method of top clearance C
The height of the top clearance can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the thickness of the gasket at the joint surface of the bearing shell. The smaller the number of gaskets, the better the compaction of the bearing bush, and the smoother the operation of the equipment. Therefore, under the condition that there is no burning tile, the fewer gaskets, the better. The measurement method of the top clearance is usually measured by pressing the lead method.
2) Adjustment and measurement method of side clearance
The side clearance between the bearing bush and the journal is usually measured with a feeler gauge. When measuring, the length of the feeler gauge inserted into the gap should not be less than 1/4 of the shaft diameter. The side gap of the bearing pad joint surface should be uniform and equal.
3) Measurement method of axial clearance
The axial clearance of the bearing bush is generally measured with a feeler gauge.
After years of practice, we believe that the top clearance of the bearing bush should be 0.15% to 0.2% of the shaft diameter, the side clearance should be 60% to 100% of the top clearance, and the axial clearance should be 1 to 3mm for the best.
