A brief introduction to the development history of jaw crusher

The jaw crusher (also known as the tiger mouth) appeared in 1858 and was first widely used in road construction and later in mines. Due to the simple structure and reliable operation of this crushing wind, it is still widely used. It is suitable for crushing hard and medium-hard materials. In the concentrator, it is mostly used as primary and secondary crushing equipment.

There are many types of pellet crushers. At present, the most widely used in my country’s mineral processing plants are simple swing jaw crushers and complex swing jaw crushers. In recent years, due to the application of hydraulic technology, a hydraulic jaw crusher has been made on the basis of a simple swing jaw crusher, and it has also begun to be used in mineral processing plants.

The main components of jaw crusher:
1- Setting jaw plate; 2- Movable jaw suspension shaft; 3- Movable jaw plate; 4- Front and rear thrust plates;
5-eccentric shaft; 6-connecting rod; 7-connecting rod hydraulic cylinder; 8-adjusting hydraulic cylinder
