 Rotary Dryer’s introduction:

Rotary Dryer is used to dry materials like limestone, slag, clay, etc. It can be used in building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry and cement industry. The dryer is mainly made up of rotary barrel, material lifting plate, transmission device, support device, seat ring, etc. The dryer has advantage of scientific structure, good craftsmanship, high capacity, low consumption and easy maintenance.

 Rotary Dryer’s Working principle:

Rotary dryer consist of a horizontally inclined rotating cylinder. Material is fed at one end and discharged at the other end. In direct-type rotary dryers, hot gases move through the cylinder in direct contact with the material, either with or against the direction of its flow. The cylinder is equipped with flights, which lift the material and shower it down through the hot gas stream.

 Rotary Dryer’s Applications:

1. Rotary Dryer can be used to dry coal in coal mine

Rotary Dryer can be used to dry coal in coal mine. Coal is sent to hopper of rotary dryer by belt conveyor or bucket elevator. The barrel is installed with slope to horizontal line. Materials enter the barrel from the higher side, and hot air enters the barrel from the lower side, coal and hot air mix together. So drying efficiency is improved. Rotary Dryer is an important equipment in this process.

2. Rotary Dryer can be used to dry limestone

Rotary Dryer can be used to dry limestone. Limestone is the important raw materials for building aggregates and cement. In limestone processing equipments, drying process are very important. Rotary Dryer has the advantage of reasonable structure, fine manufacture, high production, low energy consumption and convenient operation. Rotary Dryer is an important equipment for drying limestone.

3. Rotary Dryer can be used to dry fly ash

 

Rotary Dryer can be used to dry fly ash. Wet fly ash get into rotary dryer to dry in downstream drying method, fly ash moves up and down to realize heat exchange; then materials get into the second layer, it absorbs the inner and exterior cylinder’s release heat. Taking this drying method it extends the drying time, material can be dried well. When they are enough dry, it can get out off the roller under hot air effect, and wet materials can not through roller quick as itself heavy weight, so the wet materials can dryer fully in plate.
