With the development of science and technology, all kinds of new and efficient crushing equipment are gradually appearing and starting to be applied. At present, the mechanical crushing method is widely used in the concentrator, and the grinding equipment used in this method is a hundred-year-old equipment. The main structure of these grinding equipment has basically not changed, but modern new technologies and new materials have been applied. To the original old equipment, the performance of the equipment has changed a lot. When the crushing machinery is classified, it can be divided into: primary crusher, medium crusher and fine crusher according to their operation stages in the crushing process.

(1) Coarse crusher. Commonly used primary crushers include jaw crusher and rotary crusher (also known as primary crusher cone crusher), (2) secondary crusher. Almost all standard or medium-sized cone crushers are used for secondary crushing.

(3) Fine crusher. There are short-head cone crushers, medium-sized cone crushers, impact crushers, hammer crushers, roller crushers, etc. for fine crushing. Short-head cones are mostly used in large and medium-sized plants. The latter types of crushers are mostly used. In recent years, ultra-fine crushers have appeared to produce products with finer particle size; new types of impact crushers have been designed, which can be used as coarse and medium crushing equipment.
