A closed type slag and clinker grinding mill by squeezing the rock between an eccentrically gyrating spindle, that is roofed by a wear resistant mantle, and therefore the enclosing concave hopper, coated by a manganese concave or a bowl liner. As rock enters the highest of the new type slag and clinker grinding mill, it becomes wedged and squeezed between the mantle and therefore the bowl liner or concave. Massive items of ore are broken once, and then fall to a lower position (because they’re currently smaller) where they’re broken once more.
